Sentrol Inc.'s New and Improved Website and Online Store is Live!

We’re excited to announce the launch of Sentrol’s newly redesigned website, now live at nesentrol.com. This update reflects our ongoing commitment to making it easier for our customers and partners to connect with our products, services, and expertise.

Our new site features a clean, modern design with improved navigation, helping you quickly find the information you need—from product details to support resources. Built to perform seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices, the experience is faster, more intuitive, and accessible wherever you are.

One of the most exciting additions is our new online store. You can now browse our product offerings, review specifications, and place orders directly through the website. This streamlined process allows us to serve you more efficiently and gives you faster access to the solutions you rely on.

This launch is an important step in our digital evolution, and we look forward to continuing to enhance your experience. We invite you to explore the new site and see what’s possible.

Do you like to learn over lunch?

Sentrol is currently setting its Q2 lunch & learn schedule and would be happy to schedule one for your new employees.

Possible Topics Include:

  • Steam Pressure Control
  • Ultrasonic Flow metering of Gas, Liquid or Steam.
  • Biopharma process gas pressure control.
  • Rupture disc and safety relief valve solutions for ASME rated tanks.

Featured Product: Low Flow JRM Series

At Sentrol, we’re proud to offer high-performance solutions built for precision and reliability. One standout in our lineup is the LowFlow JRM Series pressure reducing regulator, engineered for accurate control of low flow gases in demanding applications.

The JRM Series is designed to regulate outlet pressure in very low flow, high-pressure systems, including those handling low molecular weight, corrosive, or hazardous gases. Its 316L stainless steel construction and sealed metal diaphragm design deliver durability while maintaining system integrity in sensitive environments.

Built with usability in mind, the top-entry design allows for easy in-line maintenance, while the precision diaphragm and fine-thread adjustment enable accurate setpoint control across a wide range—from 5 psi up to 475 psi.

Ideal for laboratory, analytical, and specialty gas applications, the JRM Series provides consistent performance under real flow conditions. It’s a dependable solution for processes where control, safety, and reliability are critical, giving our customers confidence in even the most demanding systems.

Sentrol Attended Fike Pressure Relief Training at Fike HQ

We’re excited to share that some of our Sentrol team members recently attended Fike’s Pressure Relief Training at their headquarters in Blue Springs, Missouri!

This intensive, hands-on program provided a deep dive into rupture disc technology, pressure relief systems, and proper application and selection practices. From classroom sessions to collaborative discussions and facility tours, our team gained valuable insight into how these critical safety solutions are engineered, manufactured, and applied in real-world environments.

One of the highlights was seeing Fike’s operations firsthand and learning directly from their experts, reinforcing how important proper system design and product selection are to protecting people, processes, and equipment.

We’re proud to continue investing in training and development so we can better serve our customers with the latest knowledge and best practices in industrial safety.

Great job to everyone who attended!

Field Service Spotlight: Fike Explosion Protection Inspection

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and system reliability, our team recently completed a quarterly inspection of a Fike Explosion Protection system at a customer site. These inspections are critical to ensuring that protection systems are ready to respond instantly in the event of a potential deflagration.

Fike explosion protection systems are designed to detect a rapid rise in pressure before an explosion can occur. Once the pressure reaches a preset threshold, the system sends a signal to gas cartridge actuators on the suppression canisters. These actuators activate immediately, rupturing a disk and releasing a mixture of sodium bicarbonate and nitrogen into the protected space, effectively suppressing the event by removing the oxygen needed to sustain combustion.

During this visit, we verified that all suppression canisters were properly pressurized to specification—900 psi for High Rate Discharge (HRD) units and 500 psi for Standard Rate Discharge (SRD) units at ambient temperature. Due to the installation layout, accessing the canisters required the use of an aerial lift, adding an extra layer of care and coordination to the process.

Regular inspection and maintenance like this ensure that critical safety systems perform exactly as intended when it matters most. At Sentrol, we take pride in supporting our customers with the expertise and attention to detail needed to keep their operations safe and compliant.
